  1. Aloha! I am writing to you all the way from the little island of Oahu, Hawaii, in the middle of the great big Pacific Ocean!

I accidentally stumbled upon your website – it’s fascinating! In fact, for the past 25+ years I’ve been studying the lives of Stigmatics, myself, but more so from a devotional viewpoint rather than scientific. In short, being a devout Catholic, I have a special devotion to them (the ones deemed credible by the Catholic Church)… and have a collection of relics from several whose Causes for Canonization have been initiated (e.g. Therese Neumann, Louise Lateau, Domenica Lazzeri, Maria von Moerl, etc.)… as a well as those who have been Beatified or Canonized (e.g. Bl. Marguerite Bays, Bl. Elizabeth the Good, Bl. Elena Aiello, St. Rita of Cascia, St. Veronica Giuliani, etc.)

I am curious – is your database of Stigmatics, accessible online? I would love to see it! You have rare photos of Stigmatics that I have not seen anywhere else, which is exciting for me… and some detailed anecdotes that I haven’t read before from any English books. If your database is online, please kindly point me to the website I need to visit in order to see it.

Thanks very much for your kind consideration.

    Sincerely,

    Peter Cruz
